Purpose: Promote youth activities and scholarships: Squires Circle Free Throw Championship Soccer Challenge Keep Christ in Christmas Poster Contest Substance Abuse Awareness Poster Contest Catholic Citizenship Essay Contest Council Scholarship and Young Man and Young Woman of the Year. Purpose: Vocations Support (we currently support 3 seminarians) Military Ministry (including support to the Archdiocese of the Military Services) Support to the Parish Picnic and Altar Server Recognition. Purpose: Maintains single points of contact for the Council between the Parish and Council Activities, promoting clear communications, scheduling of events using Parish facilities, and promoting harmony with our Parish Leaders.Ĭhairman: Brother Bobby Estey (St. KOVAR is a Virginia Knights of Columbus Charity established in 1971 to provide financial assistance through grants and home loans to tax exempt organizations providing training and assistance to citizens with intellectual disabilities. Members: Brothers Norm Merski, Dave DiSanto, and Bill Betts Deliver donations to the Food Pantry at St. Purpose: Plan, advertise, and collect the fourth Sunday food donations for the hungry at the weekend masses. Members: Financial Secretary, Deacon Mark Mueller Purpose: Coordinate new candidates’ applications for entry into the Order of Knights of Columbus through the vetting process.
